Small Acreage Field Days

Echunga Recreation Grounds,
24-25 September, 2022

The Hills Small Acreage Field Days event has been designed to bring together, in one location, the products and services with broad appeal to residents of towns and villages in the district and, in particular, the more than 6,000 families who live in the Barossa, Hills and Fleurieu on small acreage.

It will provide the most comprehensive information on the latest equipment, services and products available locally to help residents enjoy the region’s lifestyle to the fullest.

How big is the potential audience?

The target audience lives in the peri-urban area which surrounds Adelaide and the more rural and developed areas in the Barossa, Hills and the Fleurieu. Between 3 and 5,000 visitors are expected to attend the two-day event which we anticipate will become part of the annual calendar of major events in our area.

This district is growing quickly and it already contains: 11.9% of the population of South Australia, 41% of the State’s regional population, 54% of who live in Mount Barker and Gawler. Between 2021-2036 this region is expected to grow by 17.7% compared to 11.7% across SA.
