Club History

 

The Rotary Club of Stirling was chartered in September 1974

 Its first meeting place was the Stirling Hotel where meetings were conducted for several years.
Subsequent meeting venues have been the Crafers Inn Hotel and Siemers Restaurant at Stirling

before meetings resumed at the Stirling Hotel in December 2008.

The club is now entering its 35th year of continuous service to the local, national and international communities.

Paul Harris Fellows

A Paul Harris Fellowship is the highest personal award by which Rotary

can recognise exemplary performances by individual people.

  A condition of each award made, is a donation by this club, of US$1000.00 to the Rotary Foundation.

Scott Hosking Memorial Trophy for Service Above Self to This Club

This is a distinctive award which honours the memory, life and work

of one of the club's most respected charter members.

It is made at the personal choice of the out-going president,
to the member assessed as having made the most significant contribution to
the well being and success of the Rotary Club of Stirling during the relevant year.
